Our company is owned and managed by Roger Bliss who has an extensive background in custom home construction.

Roger has been in the industry since young adulthood. He carries over experience from family members such as his grandfather and uncle.

Beginning his career working for a local builder, Roger increased his knowledge of home construction from the ground up. Promoted to regional manager for Geauga County, acting as supervisor for homes in the $150,000-$700,000 range and liaison between the sales staff and the clients, Roger welcomed the challenge of keeping projects on task and within cost projections. His skill and influence over the tremendous task of coordinating several assignments at once is what Milestone’s credibility is based on. Roger’s devotion to the industry developed into a dream to create Milestone Building Company in 1996.

Milestone can build a desired home on pre-owned land or we can help in choosing from a variety of land parcels throughout northeastern Ohio. Our homes are built for real estate clients in the residential markets. New construction homes in the Chardon Area and in Lake County, Cuyahoga County and Geauga County area are considered luxury homes, dream homes, model homes, ranches, single-story, arts and crafts style, or cottage style homes.

At the moment we have several land opportunities in Claridon, within Orchard Creek, where our model home is available for viewing by appointment. In addition, we can provide suggestions on lots within Chardon, Munson, or any area in Geauga County, Lake County and Cuyahoga County. Once the site is chosen, the client can select from hundreds of floor plans from Cottage Style homes, Arts and Crafts homes, Colonials with master suites down, and Ranches with the help from our draftsman and our design specialist, the floor plan will be fine tuned to meet the client’s needs.

Our services also include home additions and landscaping, fountains and creative landscape design work as a part of these single source Dream Builder’s offerings. Finished basement projects that have home theaters, unique bars, pool tables, and other custom built features are a specialty. Owner Roger Bliss enjoys working with clients to create a unique place for entertaining. Some past projects have included in ground pools and hot tubs.

We have recently expanded our offices to create a design studio. Within this special area we display an array of products that our clients can select for their homes. During the design phase they can see which elements they would prefer to include in the project. This gives the buyer an easy opportunity to make selections immediately. We take the project in hand from land selection, design and construction to final assessment. Our clients are in "the know" throughout the process and we keep them on track from beginning to end. Personal service is our specialty. Each client is dealt with as an individual and consideration is given to every detail.
